Astoria


Astoria is a middle-class and commercial neighborhood with a population of 154,000 in the northwestern corner of the New York City borough of Queens. Astoria is a very diverse community. One can expect an adventure in food, culture, and entertainment. Eat and drink your way through this diverse cultural legacy, from stuffed vine leaves and spinach pie in a Hellenic taverna to a thick Turkish coffee and shisha pipe in “Little Egypt”. There is also Astoria Park where you can have a beautiful view of the water and bridge. Astoria is the place to go if you want to be close enough to Manhattan without being in the center of all the hustle and bustle.
